Analog anonymous direct civil action.

The Underwing Dispatch creates disruption in plain sight. Turning everyday spaces into platforms for connection, expression, and resistance with no Wi-Fi required.

Welcome to The Underwing Dispatch, an analog system for offline organizing in an age of rising surveillance. Found in cities across the country, each vending machine dispenses wheat-pasteable stickers and a map pointing users toward overlooked urban surfaces. Offering a low-tech alternative for safe, decentralized communication beyond algorithmic control.

The Dispatch is designed to be accessible to all. It invites broad participation through tactile, subversive engagement, gamifying advocacy. By placing tools directly into the hands of the public, this project helps reclaim public space and reintroduces activism into daily life.

You’ll find us in cities everywhere, inviting you to pick up a map, grab a sticker, and engage with the streets around you.

Want to speak through the machine?

Put your thoughts into the old news deposit in the machines, and when the papers run out we’ll see them.

We also print on recycled newsprint here at The Underwing, so feel free to feed the machine here too. ;)
